A Catholic Priest, Father Brown was ordained on June 8, 2002. He was born and raised in Morgan City, LA and is a graduate of Morgan City High School. He has 13 siblings, he is the 11th of the 14.

Welcome to St. Augustine Catholic Church! It is my great joy to serve as pastor of the vibrant and faith-filled community of Basile, LA. Whether you are a lifelong parishioner, a newcomer, or simply exploring, I want you to know that you are a vital part of our parish family.

At St. Augustine, we strive to live out the Gospel by fostering a welcoming spirit, deepening our faith through prayer and worship, and serving one another with Christ-like love. Our parish is rich in tradition and alive with opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach. From our liturgies and faith formation programs to our ministries and community events, there is something for everyone to grow closer to God and one another.
