St. Augustine Catholic Church has been a cornerstone of faith for over a century in Basile, Louisiana. From its humble beginnings as a mission church to its formal establishment as a thriving parish in 1921, St. Augustine has grown through the dedication of its clergy, religious sisters, and parishioners. The timeline below highlights the key milestones that have shaped our parish and strengthened our community in faith.
